Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Then this is the perfect class for you! This class will teach you the basics of the sewing machine and how to sew a straight line. The first project will be a pillowcase. In the next 2 classes, we may make a zippered bag, jewelry bag, or perhaps a table runner. The class will decide together which projects they would like to make.
Wednesdays: February 28th, March 7th, 14th, & 21st.
My Beginners have been asking for the next step, and here it is! The class project will be your individual choice. You will be able to expand your sewing experiences with a little help from a friend.
Fridays, February 16th & March 2nd
A fun quilt that can be made in five different sizes. From a crib size to a queen. It is a fat quarter quilt and can be done in a variety of color schemes. If you are an Accuquilt owner you can cut your strips on your machine. There will be homework between classes.
Christmas Tree Skirt- No Stress, Make it for 2018
Fridays: January 19 & February 2nd. 6-8:30
Get a jump on Christmas 2018! and join us to make this beautiful tree skirt using the 10 degree wedge ruler. There will be homework and you will start quilting it, but probably won't finish it entirely in class. We will also prepare the bias binding in class.
Tuesdays: February 27th, March 13th & March 20. 6-8pm
Are you relatively new to quilting and would like to move on to a larger project with some support? Then this class is perfect for you, especially if you have taken our Start to Finish Quilt Class. We will be doing two quilt tops from our favorite book, Happy Hour. There will be homework with this class.
Mondays, April 9 & 23, 6-8 pm
Want to have the cutest tote at the beach this summer? This generously sized, all-purpose tote pattern by Noodlehead is perfect for the beach, pool, picnic, carry-on travel bag or a great gift for the upcoming graduation season. Learn how to add a zipper and a key-loop to your favorite prints. There may be a small amount of homework, but by the end of the second class you will have finished this personality plus bag.

This beautiful quilt is from one of my favorite books, By the Bundle. It uses fat quarters and templates. A good skill building quilt with points and curves. There will be homework in between the classes.
Sundays, April 8 & 22, Noon-3 pm
Join Louise as she takes you step by step building your own original Square Tuffet. Gorgeous in batiks, rainbow or your favorite designer fabrics. Starting with 2-1/2" strips will start this project off with a bang. And one jelly roll is enough to make two tuffets. Kits including pattern, interfacing, batting, foam and button are available in the shop for $59.95 and when you sign up for this class receive a 10% discount on all supplies. There will be some homework required prior to the first class and between classes. Not only Little Miss Muffet needs one of these adorable tuffets!

Want to learn to make a quilt? Well, this class will take you from Start to Finish. You will learn about squaring up fabric, along with piecing, adding borders, basting, quilting and binding your quilt. This simple four-patch pattern can be made into a square table topper or a baby quilt. You will go home with a completed project!
