Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Then this is the perfect class for you! This class will teach you the basics of the sewing machine and how to sew a straight line. The first project will be a pillowcase. In the next 2 classes, we may make a zippered bag, jewelry bag, or perhaps a table runner. The class will decide together which projects they would like to make.

My Beginners have been asking for the next step, and here it is! The class project will be your individual choice. You will be able to expand your sewing experiences with a little help from a friend.
Christmas Tree Skirt
Fridays: September 8th & 22nd. 6-8:30
Get a jump on Christmas, and join us to make this beautiful tree skirt using the 10 degree wedge ruler. There will be homework and you will start quilting it, but probably won't finish it entirely in class. We will also prepare the bias binding in class.
Tuesdays: October 24th, November 7 & 14. 6-8pm
Are you relatively new to quilting and would like to move on to a larger project with some support? Then this class is perfect for you, especially if you have taken our Start to Finish Quilt Class. We will be doing two quilt tops from our favorite book, Happy Hour. There will be homework with this class.
Friday, September 29th, 6-9 PM
Get a jump on the holidays! These bags make wonderful gifts. Don't be afraid of the zipper, the application is easy. You will also learn how to enlarge these bags.
Sundays: October 8th & 29th, 12:00-2:30.
This modern pinwheel quilt uses the Quick Curve Ruler. The ruler not only does the curves, put is great at squaring up, so that your blocks come out perfect.
We give private lessons to ages 10 and up. We teach quilting and sewing techniques , so that you can become a confident sewer. Your lessons can be customized to meet your needs and your schedule. Give us a call to set up your first lesson.

You will learn about squaring up fabric, along with piecing, adding borders, basting, quilting and binding your quilt. This simple four-patch pattern can be made into a square table topper or a baby quilt. You will go home with a completed project!
