Have you always wanted to learn to sew? Then this is the perfect class for you! This class will teach you the basics of the sewing machine and how to sew a straight line. The first project will be a pillowcase. In the next 2 classes, we may make a zippered bag, jewelry bag, or perhaps a table runner. The class will decide together which projects they would like to make.

My Beginners have been asking for the next step, and here it is! The class project will be your individual choice. You will be able to expand your sewing experiences with a little help from a friend.
Sunday Afternoon, March 3rd, 12-5
This is one of my favorite quilts. Don't be afraid of the templates and the gentle curves. This quilt goes together nicely and is a great skill builder.
We give private lessons to ages 10 and up. We teach quilting and sewing techniques , so that you can become a confident sewer. Your lessons can be customized to meet your needs and your schedule. Give us a call to set up your first lesson.
Friday evenings January 25th and February 15th. 6:00-8:30
We will start with January and February, but my intention is to add March, April and May to this class. We will work on making 12" blocks using Amy Gibson's ingredients which include basic triangles, corner cutters, short and tall triangles, bursts and blooms and straight aways. What a skill builder!
Tuesday Evenings, January 22nd, 29th, February 5th, 12th and 26th. 6-8:30 PM
Want to learn to make a quilt? Well, this class will take you from Start to Finish. You will learn about squaring up fabric, along with piecing, adding borders, basting, quilting and binding your quilt. This simple four-patch pattern can be made into a square table topper or a baby quilt. You will go home with a completed project!
Tuesday Evenings, April 2th and 23rd, 6-8:30
A fun quilt that can be made in five different sizes. From a crib size to a queen. It is a fat quarter quilt and can be done in a variety of color schemes. A good beginner class. If you are an Accuquilt owner you can cut your strips on your machine. There will be homework between classes.
